The City of God Christian Centre, also known as the “House of Testimonies,” is a vibrant and dynamic church community located in London, UK. Established with a mission to “save much people alive” through the teachings of God’s word, the Centre has become a beacon of faith and hope for many in the region.
Origins and Mission
Founded in 2007, the City of God Christian Centre has its headquarters at 25 Church Walk, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE6 3DP. Under the leadership of Apostle Bright Onoka, the church has expanded its reach, opening a new centre in London to cater to the spiritual needs of the local community. The Centre is committed to spreading the gospel and providing a platform for individuals to share their testimonies, hence the moniker “House of Testimonies.”
Expansion to London
Recognizing the need for a spiritual hub in London, the City of God Christian Centre inaugurated its London branch to serve the local populace. This expansion aligns with the church’s vision to reach more people with the message of hope and salvation. The London centre offers regular services, community outreach programs, and various ministries tailored to different age groups and interests.

Leadership and Governance
The church’s leadership comprises dedicated individuals who oversee its operations and spiritual direction. Apostle Bright Onoka serves as the Lead Pastor, bringing spiritual guidance and vision to the Centre. The London Church has Pastor Victor and Pastor (Mrs) Emem Onwudili as the Pastors. The Pastoral team is responsible for ensuring that the church’s activities align with its mission and values, fostering a nurturing environment for all members.
